Chalkhill Blue OMFL!!
Here is a few photos of the recently discovered new colony of Chalkhill Blues at Bloody Oaks Quarry LRWT I took yesterday. I saw at least 6 Chalkhill Blues on site (4 males and two females) and mating was observed whilst I was there. Other butterfly highlights included a fly through Clouded Yellow , hundreds of Peacocks butterflies, one Brown Argus and three Small Copper butterflies.
